WHY NOT TAKE A VIRTUAL WALK AROUND OUR LOVELY VILLAGE BEFORE YOU COME ALONG INTO THE PUB?
We are fortunate enough to be in the tiny “Village” of East Woodlands, right on the edge of the wonderful Longleat Estate, with its beautiful House and Gardens , as well as the world famous Safari Park, which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year
The pub sits near the end of a single track lane which turns off the A361 Frome Bypass, passing between farm fields with cattle and horses peacefully grazing. Just when you think you must have gone too far, you will find the pub on the right hand side, fronted by severely pollarded lime trees, with large lawn to front and side, profuse hanging baskets and tubs in season. You will have passed Windwistle and Granados, two highly recommended “Bed and Breakfasts”, and there are several other places to stay nearby, whether you would prefer the B and B, self catering in holiday cottages, camping or caravanning. Please go to our “Links” page for details.
Rest awhile now in our superb, award winning gardens - there are plenty of garden sets for dining or just whiling away some time with a drink and the newspapers!
OUR AWARD WINNING GARDENS ARE BOTH BEAUTIFUL AND INVITING
